ڪراچي ( 24 آگسٽ): انڊس ايڪوريجن اسٽيئرنگ ڪميٽيءَ جو ڏهون اجلاس سنڌ سرڪار جي پلاننگ اينڊ ڊولپمينٽ ڊپارٽمينٽ ۾ 24 آگسٽ 2011 تي منعقد ٿيو. اجلاس جي صدارت چيف اڪنامسٽ ڊاڪٽر قاضي مسعود احمد ڪئي.
انڊس فار آل پروگرام جي ٽيم ليڊر محترم ربنواز پروگرام جو تعارف پيش ڪيو، جيڪو سڀني ڌرين جي سهڪار سان سنڌ پرڳڻي جي چئن ماڳن ڪيٽي بندر، ڪينجهر ڍنڍ، چوٽياري ريزروائر ۽ پئي ٻيلي ۾ هلي رهيو آهي. هن ماحولي خطي جي بنيادي مول متن تي روشني وڌي، جن ۾ فطرت جو تحفظ، پروگرام جا مقصد، ادارا سازي ۽ عملدرآمد جو طريقي ڪار شامل آهن.

سانگهڙ 24 جون
انڊس فار آل پروگرام _ ڊبليو ڊبليو ايف پاڪستان پاران چوٽياري ڪنزرويشنجي سهڪار سانسانگهڙ ۾ ميلو لڳايو ويو. هي ميلو چوٽياريڪنزرويشن۽ انفارميشنسينٽر تي منعقد ڪيو ويو. هن ميلي۾ مقامي ماڻهن  لاءِ نه صرف تفريح جو جوڳو بندوبست ڪيو ويو هو، پر ان کان علاوهانهن کي گوناگو جيوت ۽ چوٽياريويٽلينڊ ڪامپليڪسجي منفرد ماحولياتي نظام بابت معلوماتپڻ فراهم ڪئي وئي. ميلي تقريب ۾ اٽڪل 15 سئو ماڻهن شرڪت ڪئيجن ۾ مهاڻا، هاري ۽ ڌنار پڻ شامل هئا.

وڌندڙ ماحولياتي مسئلن کي منهن ڏيڻ لاءِ گڏجي ڪم ڪرڻو پوندو: ڊي سي او شهيد بينظير آباد
ڊبليو ڊبليو ايف انڊس فار آل پروگرام پاران نوابشاهه ۾ ماحول جي عالمي ڏينهن جي موقعي تي ميلو منعقد ڪيو ويو. ان موقعي تي شهيد بينظير آباد جي ڊي سي او جمال مصطفى شاهه خطاب ڪندي چيو ته موجوده دور ۾ ڪيترن ئي ماحولياتي مسئلن کي منهن ڏئي رهيا آهيون ۽ ڪو به ادارو اڪيلي سر انهن سڀني مسئلن کي حل نه ٿو ڪري سگهي. هن وڌيڪ چيو ته ماحولياتي مسئلن کي حل ڪرڻ لاءِ سرڪاري، غير سرڪاري ۽ نجي ادارن کي گڏجي ڪم ڪرڻ گهرجي، هن اهو پڻ اعلان ڪيو ته ايندڙ چوماسي جي موسم دوران ضلعي حڪومت، ضلعي ۾ وڻ لڳائڻ لاءِ اين جي اوز ۽ سي بي اوز جي شرڪت کي يقيني بڻائيندي.

Call to revive Riverine Forest after flood urged
Flood has given an opportunity to revive the forest in Sindh and efforts should be made to rehabilitee the lost forest coverage in Sindh. This was expressed by the speakers at a seminar on revival and rehabilitation of Riverine forest after flood. Call to promote sustainable use of fish resources
All stakeholders should come forward to promote sustainable use of fish resources. This was stated by the Director General Sindh Fisheries Ghulam Mohammad Mahar at seminar organized by Indus for All Programme, WWF at Keti Bunder. He said that government is making all efforts to discourage use of banned nets, which are having negative impacts on fish resources. He said that fishermen community should voluntarily disband the banned nets and instead should use legal nets, which allows juvenile fish to grow. more

Speakers have urged the government to help revive indigenous Indigo plant locally called Neer in Sindhi, which is national heritage. The plant was widely used as a source of the blue dye indigo. Hyderabad June 27: The Friends of Indus Forum has called to declare Indus delta as fifth shareholder of water besides four provinces. In a meeting of forum held here, the forum representatives said that water accord 1991 should be revisited. They said that gaps in national water policy should be addressed prior to its approval. The forum said that a transparent and coherent national water policy should be promulgated as soon as possible. more
